Out West Design Co.
Out West Design Co. is a Santa Cruz–based lifestyle brand that celebrates the beauty and spirit of its coastal surroundings through hand-pressed apparel and accessories. Rooted in locally inspired graphics and crafted with care in California, the brand embodies effortless style with a laid-back, artistic energy. For this project, I created an online identity that reflects Out West’s connection to handcrafted charm, consumer-friendly composition, and a modern aesthetic that captures both personality and purpose.
Translating Vision into Digital Form
Out West Design Co.’s website was built through an intentional, hands-on collaboration with founder Shannon Juliana. My role was to listen closely, refine her vision, and translate it into a digital experience that feels authentic to the brand. From layout to visual flow, every design decision was made to support her creative direction while elevating the brand’s presence online.
Supplementary Brand Graphics
To support the launch and growth of Out West Design Co., I designed a suite of supplementary brand materials that extended the visual identity beyond the website. These included promotional flyers, QR code handouts, business cards, price tags, and other printed assets, each thoughtfully crafted to feel cohesive with the brand’s aesthetic and recognizable across touchpoints.
